who am i?

Hello and welcome, my name is Samantha. I live in beautiful Warwickshire with my two pets - a cat called Beau, and a dog called Ted! 

 I've been in the creative industry since 2007. Whether you need a creative writer, an illustrator, an artist or a photographer - you're in the right place, and I'd love for you to get in touch!

Since graduating from my HND in Visual Arts, I ventured onto a career as an artist. My work took me to some wonderful places in the world - including an eight year stint in Switzerland, where I worked as a lyricist for some songs which ended up on Swiss national radio, a photographer for a very popular dairy brand (where my photography was distributed millions of times in Swiss supermarkets), and as an Author. I also ventured into wedding photography, which was magical! 

I've published several books, including 'Jack and the Cats', 'Aric's Forest', 'The Cat Salon', 'Wolfhusen', '27: To Be Honest' and 'The Sarcastic Magician'.

I love photography - and have been lucky enough to work in the field for a long time. I've worked on commercial products, as well as creative projects and weddings. I've also worked as a Photojournalist - for example, at Comic Con in London (I was awarded press passes) - and this gave me the chance to take photography of stars such as Jason Momoa, Paloma Faith, Yungblud. Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Freddy Carter and Mark Rowley, Robert Sheehan, Toby Regbo and Ross Marquand (and yes I was starstruck!).

My photography can be found on calendars, blogs, news publications, products - and, of course, in the photo albums of my wonderful customers from over the years!

As an Author, I've illustrated all of my children's books. Don't be fooled by this section being brief - illustrating is one of my absolute favourite things to do! I've also illustrated for greeting cards. 

Again, as an Author, I've had a fantastic opportunity to write creatively. I've also worked with some incredibly talented musicians as a lyricist (including an X Factor UK runner-up and Eurovision Song Contest contestant)

Myself and my projects have been featured by several publications, both in the UK and internationally. Includes The Guardian, The Shropshire Star, The Coventry Telegraph, The Coventry Observer, Pride Magazine, Shout Magazine, Citivision, What's on Birmingham and Apero - so if you choose to work alongside me on a project or hire me for an event, please rest assured that you're in professional hands!
